As part of its continued product range expansion Fast Freeze has launched the Platoblast Freezer. This freezer combines the traditional Horizontal Plate Freezer for contact freezing and the addition of an efficient high volume cold air re-circulation system.

The Platoblast can be used for freezing Tuna Loins, headed Shrimp, etc. with both the traditional contact style, or set in an open plate position for combined contact and air Blast freezing. The freezing time is reduced and capacity increased compared to standard air blast systems.
